CSREC is an autonomous voluntary organisation which brings together representatives from the statutory
authorities, voluntary organisations and individuals who support the aims of the Equality Council.
Our Mission
CSREC is working towards a racism-free Central Scotland which gives everyone
an equal chance to learn, work and live free from discrimination and prejudice and from the fear of racial harassment and
violence.
Our Values
CSREC
is opposed to all forms of discrimination and oppression. We will actively promote racial justice and equality of opportunity
for all. We are committed to plan and deliver services in a manner which is transparent, professional, sensitive and
values diversity.
Our Aims - To work towards the elimination
of racial discrimination;
- To promote equality of opportunity and good relations between persons of different racial groups without
distinction on grounds of colour, race, nationality, ethnic or national origin, gender, marital status, disability, sexual
orientation, age and creed
- To promote co-operation in the achievement of our aims by bringing together representatives of the statutory
authorities, voluntary organisations and other relevant authorities.
