How CSREC can help you
Central Scotland
Racial Equality Council is a voluntary organisation which has been established in 1984. We work towards elimination of all
kinds of discrimination and promoting good relations between people of different backgrounds through different projects.
Most of our services cover Falkirk, Clackmannanshire and Stirling areas (apart from our casework which covers Perth
and Kinross too).
What do we do?
Ø We provide advice and information on: Welfare Benefits Public Services including Health Services Housing
Ø We support people who are looking for jobs by: Preparing CV Searching and applying for jobs Getting ready for interviews Develop
relevant skills Gaining work experiences
through volunteering
Ø We give legal advice for victims of discrimination and harassment.
Ø We represent victims at tribunals.
Ø
We help minority ethnic people
to be able to influence the community planning process through: Information sessions Training Community
Events
All of the above services are FREE!
Ø
We also provide an interpreting
and translation service at a reasonable price.
